Bosch Art Film - Curating Film Program 2010-2012
Bosch Art Film is a four day celebration of art and film. The festival presents poignant films and documentaries about art and artists, artist-films and videos, and hosts an inspiring program of talks and presentations by filmmakers, artists and other special guests.
There will be a special animation programme for students of the St Joost Art Academy open to the general public. Photographers Malick Sidibé and Jamel Shabazz will star in documentaries; their pictures will be exhibited in the central hall. 2011 In 2011 BAF explored architecture & space, family ties, seeing & collecting and fashion. 2010 Every year BAF highlights specific sub themes. The first issue in 2010 focused on 'the outsider'; the free fighters of film, video, visual arts and fashion.
Bosch Art Film Festival is part of a cultural manifestation Bosch500 that takes place in the city of Den Bosch till 2016 and is commemorating Jheronimus Bosch, who died in Den Bosch in 1516.
